Your MMS will be saved for a maximum of 48 hours (2 days) in our system afterwhich it will be permanently deleted. Therefore, you have up to 48 hours to enter in the VIEW MMS area in order to view/download the MMS you received.
What happens once I view the received MMS in the Vodafone website?
The image will be lost unless you save it to your PC. You may, however, forward it to any email address.
How will I know that my MMS has been delivered?
If you send an MMS from your phone you will receive a delivery report. In order to receive such reports this function should be activated from your mobile phone through the MMS settings. Depending on the actual status of the sent MMS, this could read; 'delivered' or 'pending'.
How do I receive and view an MMS on my mobile phone?
This depends on the way your MMS phone is set. You can set your phone to immediately or automatically download the MMS; meaning that the phone will alert you that it is retrieving an MMS and further notify you once it is fully downloaded.
Alternatively, you may set your phone to manual or deferred downloading meaning that you will first receive a message asking you whether you would like to download the MMS at a later stage.
Note; an MMS can be viewed/downloaded within the next 48 hours (2 days) from the time it was sent.
Can I receive MMSs even if I don't have a compatible mobile phone?
Yes with Vodafone you can indirectly view your MMSs even if you don't have a capable phone and/or do not have the MMS service activated. When someone sends you an MMS you will receive a text message (SMS). You will then be able to view your MMS in the following way:

Yes sure with Vodafone you can! If you're a Vodafone customer and have registered to My Vodafone you may benefit from the Web Messaging service and send MMSs everyday to any Vodafone number.
Can I save MMSs on my mobile phone?
Most phones treat MMSs just like SMSs in that incoming MMSs are stored in the MMS Inbox whereas sent MMSs are stored in the Outbox or Sent Folders depending on the phone. It is advisable that you consult the manual of your phone for specific details.
Will my mobile number show when I send an MMS from my phone or the website?

Yes, you can send and receive MMSs over 4G. Charges apply accordingly to the visited country and the network with which you are roaming.Both postpaid and prepaid customers may still use the MMS service when roaming with other networks in other countries, which however support data.
Furthermore prepaid customers need to make sure that they are roaming with those networks which also support the full prepaid roaming service apart from data.
